This question gets asked a lot. What to do at home to help my back or neck?

Proper home care is essential for a healthy back. 

First and foremost, you need exercise and movement. Human bodies are designed to be in motion but too much of our day at work or home is sedentary. When we are not moving that is when problems set in. So one of the healthiest home habits you can have is to exercise regularly. This can be as simple as going for a 15 minute walk around the block when you get home from work. 

Strength training and stretching:

Strength training and stretching is very important as well. Prevention is key. Chiropractors and physical therapists can be a great resource of what stretches or exercises to do. Best thing to do in regards to exercise is find something that you enjoy, whether it be running, weights, yoga or pilates. Making healthy habits a part of your daily routine consisting of exercise, stretching, time to destress and eating healthy is the recipe for a healthy back at home.
